Getting started

1. Check smartphone compatibility
You need Bluetooth Smart (not Bluetooth Classic) on your
smartphone to use WarmUp Bluetooth®. This is available in
the following phones/operating systems:
• iPhone 4s and newer
• Android 4.4 and newer*
• Windows Phone 8.1 and newer*
*Deviations may occur. Use the DEFA app on your phone to
check Bluetooth Smart compatibility.
2. Download app
Download the free DEFA app from App Store,
Play Store or Windows Phone Store
3. Enable Bluetooth on your phone
4. Set up DEFA Bluetooth® Hub
You need to pair your smartphone with the Bluetooth® Hub,
in order to control the DEFA WarmUp system. Open the DEFA
app, find the "Set up Bluetooth® Hub" option and follow the
on-screen instructions.
5. Take care of the serial number
Take good care of the serial number on the front page of this
user manual. You will need it when contacting DEFA
or your DEFA dealer.
