Silent alert
To avoid the disturbance caused by a
ringing phone, you can activate the
silent alert function as an alterna-
tive. The silent alert can also be acti-
vated in addition to the ringer (e.g.
in noisy environments). This func-
tion is deactivated when the battery
is charged.
Silent alert is activated automatically
if the maximum volume has been set
for the ringtone. This is to remind
you not to hold the ringing phone to your
ear, so that avoid damaging your
hearing.

Note
Please make sure you have accepted the
call before holding the phone to your ear.
This will avoid your hearing possibly being
damaged by a loud ringtone.
If two independent phone numbers are reg-
istered on your phone, you can set different
volumes for them (page 120).
