Universal Power Supply Plus (UPS Plus)

6. Electrical connection

• The 9-pin connector must be plugged into the 9-pin plug. This connector is for the two relay outputs and for the
power supply (see Chapter 6.1).
• The 6-pin connector must be plugged into the 6-pin plug. This connector is for the sensor connection (see Chapter 6.2).
• The 2-pin connector must be plugged into the 2-pin plug. This connector is for a test signal; if available (see Chapter 6.3).
Important:
The UPS Plus test input cannot handle a test routine by itself.

2-pin test connector

The 2-pin test connector does not generate a test signal. If the external controller generates a test signal, it can be
connected to the UPS Plus. Set the corresponding DIP switch to ON. The signal will then be "wired through", galvanically
separated. If the controller cannot handle a test signal, the DIP switch has to be set to OFF. In this case, the test signal
will be connected to the internal supply voltage of the UPS Plus (24 VDC).
Important:
The UPS Plus test input cannot handle a test routine by itself.
