Universal Power Supply (UPS)
6.1

Power-up and test for proper function

Turn on power after the light curtain has been correctly
installed in conjunction with the Universal Power Supply.
The start-up time for the UPS takes max. 4 s.
The green LED in the Universal Power Supply indicates
that there is supply voltage available.
An orange LED indicates the status of the light curtain
and the output relay.
Installation tip:
When the buzzer is switched on with the sliding switch, a disrupted beam condition is indicated with a buzzer signal. This
function is very helpful after installation to check the proper function of the UPS as well as of the connected light curtain.
If the UPS or the light curtain do not operate as described in this section, please refer to chapter 7 "Trouble shooting".
