Press the MUTE button (4) to disable the sound temporarily. Press it again to restore the sound
to its previous volume level.
Long-press the VOL/SEL button (3) for several seconds to select the following functions; each
long-press will cycle to the next function.
When one of these functions is selected, turn the knob to adjust the function options. For example,
when DSP OFF ON is selected, you can turn the knob to change the DSP mode (Flat, Classic,
Pop, Rock); then press the VOL/SEL button to confirm the DSP mode.
ESP mode: When ESP is selected, turn the knob to change between setting ESP to 12 or 45
seconds; then press the VOL/SEL button to confirm.
BEEP mode: When BEEP is selected, turn the knob to change between ON or OFF; then press the
VOL/SEL button to confirm. When set to on, each press of the keypad will emit a beep.
VOL LAST/ADJUST: When VOL LAST/ADJUST is selected, turn the knob to change between LAST
or ADJUST; then press the VOL/SEL button to confirm. When set to LAST, the unit will remember
the volume level when you turn it off and restore it the next time you turn it on. When set to ADJUST,
you will have to adjust the volume level again each time you turn the unit on.
SEEK mode: When SEEK is selected, turn the knob to change between SEEK 1 and SEEK 2; then
press the VOL/SEL button to confirm. This changes the behavior of the SEEK button when
scanning for radio stations. When SEEK 1 is selected, the unit will automatically stop at the first
detected radio station when you press the SEEK button. When SEEK 2 is selected, the unit will
not stop scanning if you long-press the SEEK button; it will continue to scan until you release
the button.
