Symptom Possible Cause

TROUBLESHOOTING
Remedy
• Plug the PowerCenter into a properly grounded 120 volt (nominal) outlet and make
sure it is on.
• Plug the plug into the component you want to use to activate Remote Turn-On..
• Replace the battery powering the component remote control.
• Plug the component into a properly grounded 120 volt (nominal) outlet.
• Plug the PowerCenter into a properly grounded 120 volt (nominal) outlet.
• Contact your cable or satellite provider to correct your installation.
• Replace batteries in remote control.
• Check location of PowerCenter (or external IR Receiver), placing in a position where
it has direct "line of sight" to remote control signals.
• Check connection and placement of IR Emitters, and make necessary
positioning adjustments.
• Make sure IR Emitters are not pointed towards the front of the PowerCenter.
• Move the remote control closer to the IR Receiver.
