- Page 4 5. When the toasting cycle is complete, the pop-up lever will rise and the “Stop” button light will switch off. 6. To lift the toast further out of the slot, lift the pop-up lever to the highest position. NOTE: • In the unlikely event that the bread or crumpet becomes jammed, switch the toaster off at the power outlet, remove the plug from the supply socket and carefully ease the bread out of the toaster, ensuring that you do not damage the element.
- Page 5 STOP BUTTON 1. This button is always illuminated red when the toaster is in use. 2. The toasting operation can be halted at any time by pressing the red illuminated 'Stop' button. 3. The pop-up lever will lilt the toast automatically and the light will go out. CLEANING AND STORING Before attempting any cleaning operation, make sure that the toaster is unplugged from the power supply and has fully cooled down.
