I have a 28 volty90 degree drill. It does not seem to have much power any longer. When I charge the battery the charger indicates green for full power. The battery indicate four red bars but the drill does not work well. It is like the battery is weak. What gives?

Power issues with the Milwaukee M28 48-59-2819 28-volt drill, despite the battery showing a full charge, could be caused by:

1. High Current Draw: In situations of high torque, binding, or stalling, the tool may shut off to protect the battery. The tool may buzz briefly before turning off, and the Fuel Gauge lights will flash 8 times.

2. Overheating: If the internal temperature of the battery becomes too high, the battery will shut off. The Fuel Gauge lights will flash alternately when the button is pressed.

3. Cold Battery: If the battery is too cold, it may not function properly until it reaches the correct temperature.

4. Faulty Battery: A flashing red/green light indicates a damaged or faulty battery pack.

In such cases, reduce pressure on the tool, allow the battery to cool, or check for battery faults.
