Troubleshooting

Malfunction
• Excessive dust is
generated
• No blasting shot
emerges from the
blasting gun
Possible cause
Worn, damp or
lumpy blasting shot
Prefilter blocked
Main filter blocked
Too little blasting shot
in the cabin
No air pressure
Foreign body in the
unit

Remedy
Change blasting
shot
Check whether the
dust collection
chamber is over-
filled.
Check whether the
dust collection
drawer has been in-
stalled firmly sealed.
Refill blasting shot
Set air pressure on
the pressure relief
valve to at least
0.5 bar.
Large burrs, scales
and lacquer, etc.
may deposit them-
selves in both the
dosing cup and in
the blasting gun.
Both are to be re-
moved by loosening
the hose clamps
and inspecting for
foreign bodies. The
air and blasting noz-
zle must be screwed
out if necessary. The
suction pipe must
likewise be re-
moved.
