    CHIMNEY DIAMETER 2 FOOT ABOVE ANY POINT Follow the fireplace manufacturer’s manual WITHIN 10 FOOT to determine required chimney diameter and 3 FOOT MINIMUM HORIZONTAL ABOVE ROOFLINE clearances between combustible materials and your fireplace. Never use a chimney with an inside diameter smaller than your flue opening above firebox unless specifically allowed by the fireplace manufacturer.
