For safety and ease of assembly, use two people to assemble the Shop Crane.
1. Slide the Header (3) into the two Legs (1) as shown in FIGURE 1.
2. Using two Bolts (17), two Washers (18), and two Nuts (19), assemble the two Legs (1)
and Strut (2) as shown in FIGURE 1.

3. Using four Bolts (14), four Washers (15), and four Nuts (16) per Caster (4), assemble
the Casters (4) to the two Short Extensions (5) and two Long Extensions (6) as shown
in FIGURE 2.
Warning! The Header (3) is not permanently attached to the Legs (1) at this time. Be
careful when moving the Legs (1) or Header (3) until they are permanently attached.
WARNING! When attaching the Short Extensions (5), they must be inserted a minimum
of 4 inches. When attaching the Long Extensions (6), they must be inserted a minimum
of 6 inches. There is a line drawn on each Extension at the minimum length. This line
should always be inside the tubing of the Header (3) and the Legs (1). VERIFY THAT
THE PROPER ExTENSION GOES IN THE CORRECT PLACE; IMPROPER PLACEMENT
WILL CREATE A HAZARDOUS SITUATION.

4. Slide the two Short Extensions (5) into the Header (3). Position the Short Extensions
(5) out to the maximum safe length (until the white line is barely hidden) and tighten
the Set Bolts (34). See FIGURES 1, 3, and 4 (FIGURE 4 is on page 5).
