the air fryer
MODEL: RJ38-V2-35T
Possible Cause
The appliance is not
plugged in
The timer was not set
The basket is
overcrowded
The set temperature is
too low
Certain ingredients need
to be shaken halfway
through
The snack was meant to
be prepared in a
traditional deep fryer
Too many ingredients in
the basket
Basket is not placed in the
air fryer correctly
Greasy ingredients are
being prepared
The pan still contains
grease residues from
previous use
The wrong type of potato
was used
Sliced potatoes were not
rinsed properly before air
frying
The crispiness of the fries
depends on the amount of
oil and water in the fries
Solution
Insert plug into the electrical outlet
Press the time button and adjust -/+ to the
desired cook time and press START
to switch the appliance on
Put smaller batches of ingredients in the
basket to fry more evenly
Press the temperature button and adjust
-/+ to a higher temperature
Shake halfway through
the preparation time
Lightly brush or spray some oil onto the
snacks for a crispier result
Do not fill the basket beyond the MAX
indication
Push the basket into the fryer until you
hear a click
Frying greasy ingredients causes a large
amount of oil to leak into the basket. This
will produce smoke but does not affect
the appliance or cooking of your food.
Make sure the basket is cleaned properly
after use. The basket is dishwasher-safe
Use fresh potatoes and make sure that
they stay firm during frying
Rinse the potato sticks fully in cold water
to remove the starch
Make sure to full dry the slices of potato
before adding any oil or spices
Cut the potato sticks smaller for a
crispier result
Add a little oil for a crispier result
