OPERATION

IMPORTANT When working, always keep
a safe distance from the cutting means,
given by the length of the handle.
Battery power reserve (and therefore the movable
lawn surface before recharging is required) depends
on many factors described in (par. 7.2.1).
Some models are equipped with control
lights that signal that the battery charge
level is low during work (par. 7.2.2).
In the models equipped with a display (type "II"
handle), the battery charge state is shown during use
(percentage of total charge remaining) (Fig.14.E).
IMPORTANT If the motor stops because
it is overheated while mowing, you must wait
approximately 5 minutes before restarting it.
6.4.1
Grass cutting
1.
Start moving forward and mowing in the grass area.
Regulate the forward speed and the cutting
2.
height (par. 5.4) considering the conditions of
the lawn (the height, density and dampness of
the grass) and the amount of grass collected.
In the models with type "II" handle and
drive (par. 5.3.3): We recommend not to
work land that slopes more than 15°.
3.
The appearance of the lawn will improve
if you alternate cutting in both directions
at the same height (Fig.25.0).
For side discharge: it is best to mow in a pattern where
cut grass is not discharged on the grass still to be cut.
For mulching or rear grass discharge:
• Always avoid removing a large quantity of
grass. Never cut more than one third of the total
grass height per single pass (Fig.25.0).
• Keep the chassis perfectly clean (par. 7.3.1).
