Weight and Balance
The change to the aircraft empty weight must be determined as follows:
1. List all of the equipment removed from the aircraft in Table C-1 in order to facilitate the
addition of the OASIS system.
2. If the aircraft equipment list does not provide moments, multiply the item Weight by the
item Arm to calculate the Moment.
3. Add all the removed weights to determine a "Total Removed Weight".
4. Add all the removed moments to determine a "Total Removed Moment".

5. The OASIS equipment is listed in Table. Insert the arms of the installed items in the
appropriate cell of the ARM column.
6. Insert a weight for the install wire, cable, connectors and brackets
7. Multiply the Weight by the Arm to calculate the Moment of each installed item.

MSU weight in the total if not installed.
