  • Page 2 Important Safeguards: When using electrical appliances, basic precautions should always be taken to reduce the risk of electrical shock and injury to persons, including the following: 1.   Read all instructions before operating the machine. 2.   Always unplug the machine when not in use. 3.
  • Page 3 Unpacking: The PROMASK 27 COLD LAMINATOR comes packed in one carton and is fully assembled, ready-to-run. Open the carton and carefully remove the machine by lifting it by its ends. Remove the foam end caps and carefully cut and discard any tie straps retaining the accessories.
  • Page 4 4.   Install film rolls onto supply mandrels as per the threading diagram below. Top and bottom mandrels are colored coded in reference to their location. 5.   Plug power cord into suitable 115VAC outlet. 6.   After film is loaded per the threading diagram, switch drive switch to the forward position.
  • Page 5 8.   Activate the motor by pressing on the foot pedal switch and insert threading board into rollers advancing film though both sets of rollers. (If film does not exit out rear rollers or becomes wrapped around front rollers immediately stop motor advancement by releasing pressure from the foot pedal switch, motor is reversible by holding drive switch in the reverse position and depressing foot pedal).

    Cleaning and Maintenance Cleaning: Your PROMASK 27 COLD LAMINATOR will require periodic cleaning to remove dust and built up contaminants from the rollers. Before attempting to clean the machine, be certain to unplug it from the wall outlet. The outside of the machine and the rollers can be wiped down with a dampened, lint free cloth.
