Using the Lower and Spacious Upper Cases

■ Stored vegetables are not exposed to cold air directly, and they are
cooled gently but thoroughly. All vegetables stay crisp, vibrant and
fresh with their own moisture without wrapping with plastic fi lm.
Caution
● Make sure that any stored food does not protrude beyond the storage height limit line.
・ Otherwise, the door may not close completely, and as a result, the refrigerator may not cool suffi ciently.
・ Food and/or the case may damage.

To cool it more [Vegetable Compartment (MAX)]

■ Push the
The "蔬果室強 (Vegetable Compartment (MAX))" indicator lamp is turned on.
The display switches in sequence as shown below every time the button is pushed.
The setting is kept active until it is changed.
To exit the "蔬果室強 (Vegetable Compartment (MAX))" mode, turn off "蔬果室強 (Vegetable Compartment (MAX))" indicator lamp.
● Foods are stored under the temperature lower than usual (approx. 1 to 5℃ rather than approx. 3 to 7˚C.)
※ The above temperatures are standard values for the Vegetable Compartment under the condition that the refrigerator is
stable with no food stored and the door closed, at ambient temperatures of 30ºC.
● If foods are kept in the "蔬果室強 (Vegetable Compartment (MAX))" for a long time, vegetables high in water content may freeze.
Notice
● You cannot set both "蔬果室強 (Vegetable Compartment (MAX))" and "急冷蔵 (Quick Cooling)"/"急冷凍 (Quick Freezing)" concurrently.
● When setting "節電 (Energy Saving)" mode during the "蔬果室強 (Vegetable Compartment (MAX))" mode, the cooling function
Caution
● Dew may adhere to the spacious upper case or the ceiling in the Vegetable Compartment,
depending on the volume/type of vegetables, because the humidity is high in the Vegetable
Compartment. Water is no good to perishable food. Wipe off water with a dry cloth.
● Some kind of PET bottle may not be able to be stored.
Moreover, PET bottle may not be able to be stored if its cap is not completely tightened.
● When outer temperature is low, temperature within the case may also become low.
● Open/close the Vegetable Compartment Door slowly. Opening/closing the door mightily, the food stored

in the tall storage compartment (PET bottle etc.) may overturn.
