of the amount of delay. T o determine a c t u a l jitter, con-
nect
a
s t a b l e time-mark signal t o the oscilloscope,
set
the oscilloscope for the amount of delay required,
and measure any jitter that may be present. If the time-
mark signal i s s t a b l e , any jitter present i s due to the
oscilloscope.
