To descale the Morphy Richards Power Steam Elite:
1. Ensure the unit is completely cool before starting. 2. Use the key provided to open the drain nut underneath the unit. If difficult, wait until the unit is cool, as heat can make it harder to open. 3. Prepare a descaling solution following the manufacturer’s instructions or use a suitable store-bought descaler. 4. Pour the descaling solution into the tank. 5. Let the solution sit for the recommended time specified in the manual. 6. Drain the solution out into a sink. 7. Rinse the tank thoroughly by filling it with fresh water, shaking, and draining. Repeat until the water runs clear. 8. Reassemble the unit.
For prevention, use distilled water and rinse the boiler after every 5–10 uses.
