8.3 Sensor assembly gaskets
8.3.1 Removing the O sensor

IMPORTANT NOTE
The O sensor must be removed to enable access to the
2
COe block thermocouple – see Fig. 8.4, page 11, item
L.
Referring to Fig. 8.3:
1. Place the sensor assembly on a clean flat surface with the
flange studs pointing down.
2. Disconnect O sensor wiring at upper terminals 8, 9, 10
2
using a small flat-bladed screwdriver to depress the spring
connector in each terminal and withdraw the wires from the
terminal housing.
