Before use / Start-up
Furniture is now coated with a variety of paints and
plastics, and is treated with the most diverse of clean-
ers. It is therefore impossible to preclude some of
these substances may contain components which
would affect and soften the rubber feet of the housing.
If necessary, place a non-slip, heat resistant pad
under the glass kettle.
Please the base station
Connect the device to the protective ground

Please boil water 2–3 times prior to first use.
To do so, fill the water reservoir to the MAX mark.
Pour out the water after each use and rinse the
water reservoir with clean water.
Always allow the water reservoir to cool to room
temperature between cycles.

Placing the glass kettle on
the centre contact station
Your glass kettle features a practical centre contact
station. This means you may align the water reser-
voir
in any direction without observing the accu-

racy of fit.

Boiling water

Note: The ON / OFF switch
if the device is on the base station.
Press the ON / OFF switch

start heating. Once the water is boiling the auto
shut-off will switch the device off. The shut-off
time depends on the amount of water added.
Note: Based on the function of the device, a
few drops of condensation may escape from
the discharge openings at the bottom of the de-
vice at the end of the boiling cycle. This is not a
sign the device is leaking but is due to the auto
shut-off and does not affect safety.
