Management You can manage an EtherHaul system using a Web-Based Element Management System (Web EMS) or a Command Line Interface (CLI). The CLI is compatible with SNMP. Advanced network features must be managed using the CLI. The EtherHaul system features a wide range of built-in indicators and diagnostic tools for advanced OAM functionality.

    To power up the EtherHaul using PoE, connect the cable to Eth#1. Both AC or DC PoEs can be used. For direct DC feed, you may use RJ45-DC adapter (Siklu P/N: EH-PoE-DC-adaptor-10) to provide DC to the ODU over RJ-45 connector (should be connected to Eth#1). Note that in such case, Eth#1 will be used for power only (no data).

Thread the cable and tight the shell to the ODU firmly by hand (do not use tools). 2. Insert the rubber gasket snugly and tight the connector lock. Caution: To avoid accidental damage to the connector, when removing the All-Weather Shell, unlock the gland first.

Although the local and remote systems IP address is identical (default IP address 192.168.0.1), the remote will be available as well as the EtherHaul uses dedicated communication channel for local-remote communication that is not IP-based.
