150dB Motor Siren with Relay Kit
Installation Instruction
The ENVIROMUX-SRN-MTR-xxxV Motor Siren (xxx = 110 or 220) is used to deter intruders and alert personnel of alert conditions
when used in conjunction with an ENVIROMUX-SEMS-16, ENVIROMUX-SEMS-16U or ENVIROMUX-2D/-5D/-16D Server
Environment Monitoring System (SYSTEM). It requires the ENVIROMUX-RLY-SRNMTR relay kit to connect the siren to a SYSTEM
(as shown below). Once connected, the SYSTEM can be configured to activate the 150dB siren as needed to alert personnel.
Installation
1.
Mount the ENVIROMUX-SRN-MTR where desired.
2.
Mount the electrical enclosure provided close enough to the siren to connect the cable from the siren.
3.
Connect the ENVIROMUX-SRN-MTR-xxxV and ENVIROMUX-RLY-SRNMTR to a SYSTEM and connect a power source as
shown in the diagrams below.
Note: All wiring should be done by a
certified, licensed electrician.

For the ENVIROMUX-2D, 5D, or ENVIROMUX-MINI-LXO, on sensor configuration page, make sure the associated output relay isn’t “none” and either change the “Output Relay status on alert” to Active (if connected as shown in the drawing) or Inactive (if you connect the siren wire to the N.C.
