Your telephone is fitted with a camera allowing you to take photos, short animations, and video clips that
you can use in different ways:
- store them in your "Media Album",
- send them in a multimedia message (MMS) to a mobile phone or an e-mail address (see page 41),
- customise your main screen (see page 50),
- assign them to a contact in your directory (see page 33),
- transfer them by Infrared to your computer using Alcatel PC Suite,
- modify your photos adding frames, stamps, etc (see page 87).

Taking a photo

To access this function from the main screen, press the
Your phone must be switched on to take a photo. The screen acts as viewfinder. Position the object or
landscape in the viewfinder. The lens is situated on the back of the phone. Please do not touch it. Just next
to the lens there is a mirror to make sure you are well placed in order to take a photo of yourself.
You can take a photo in Portrait or in Landscape mode
- Portrait mode: short keypress on

- Landscape mode: short press on one of the side keys.
The shortcut to access the Camera feature from the main screen with the side keys, is disabled
when the flip is closed.

Burst shoots

Hold down the
key or the upperside key.The shots are taken as long as the key is held down (maximum
number of pictures in a burst: 15). Then you can send this burst shoot in an MMS using the available options
(not available on VGA and Panoramic formats).
14.3

Taking a photo with sound

You can record a background sound, while you are taking a picture (hold down the lower side key). A screen
will prompt you to record your sound. When you release your finger, the recording will stop. Press
return to the photo shot screen.
Please use your camera sensibly. Respect others and observe current regulations in your country.
