Galaxy Wearable app
• U pdate watch software: Update the Galaxy Watch to the latest software.
• B ack up and restore: Back up the Galaxy Watch's data on the Samsung Cloud or restore
backup data. Refer to
• L egal information: View the legal information for the Galaxy Watch.
• U nknown sources: Set the Galaxy Watch to allow the installation of apps from unknown
sources.
• S amsung account: View the Samsung account information.
• D evice name: Change the Galaxy Watch's name.
• D evice information: Check the Galaxy Watch's information, such as the Wi-Fi MAC
address, Bluetooth address, and serial number.
Updating software via the Galaxy Wearable app
The Galaxy Watch can be directly updated to the latest software by the firmware over-the-air
(FOTA) service.

Launch Galaxy Wearable on your mobile device.

Tap SETTINGS → About watch → Update watch software → Update now.

Tap DOWNLOAD and install the latest software version on your mobile device.

Read the on-screen information and tap INSTALL NOW.
The Galaxy Watch will copy the updated software from your mobile device and restart.
To automatically check for available updates and download them, tap Auto update
to activate it. Updates will be downloaded only when the device is connected to a
Wi-Fi network.
