1.2 Processor and Chipset Overview

Built upon the functionality and capability of the Intel® Xeon® Scalable processors (Socket P)
and the C621 chipset (Note below), this motherboard provides superb system performance,
efficient power management, and a rich feature set based on cutting edge technology to
address the needs of next-generation computer users. With support of Intel® UltraPath
Interconnect (UPI) of up to 10.4 GT/s, and Intel® AVX-512 new instructions, this motherboard
drastically increases system performance for a multitude of server applications.
The Intel® Xeon® Scalable processor and the C621 chipset support the following features:
