  • Page 2 We recommend a two-person team for assembly and disassembly. Save information for future reference. Prior to assembly it is important to decide on the location of the AG28 umbrella. The umbrella measures approximately 123” in height when opened.

  • Page 4 (Fig. 3) base shell. CAUTION: Fully assembled, the AG28 umbrella weighs over 300 lbs. Moving the umbrella fully assembled will increase the risk of damage to your umbrella and can cause serious injury. We recommend a two-person team to assemble the umbrella.

  • Page 6 S T E P 3 Assemble AG28 Frame To prevent scratching frame during assembly, lay umbrella parts on soft surface. Remove packaging from umbrella. NOTE: Keep canopy structure and frame arm strapped. Attach the bottom pole into the housing, bottom pole only fits one way. Line up holes and secure the two bolts with hexagon wren ch (Fig.
  • Page 7 S T E P 4 Opening and Closing To Open and Extend Arm: Insert crank handle fully into socket A (Fig. 13), crank handle will snap into place, then slowly crank the handle clockwise until crank handle stops and arm is fully extended outward.
  • Page 8 S T E P 5 Rotating AG28 Pull out the locking rotation knob to disengage lock (Fig. 16) and place second hand on Socket B crank system simultaneously to rotate in either direction (Fig. 17). After desired location is reached, release rotation knob to lock into one of the 12 preset locking positions.

After loosening, pull down light adapter post (Fig. 19) to attach the umbrella light (sold separately).
