Settings
Handset lock
You can lock your phone. The following 4 lock
functions are available.
When switching on: Locks the handset whenever the
handset is switched on.
If USIM changed: Locks the handset when the
phone's USIM card has been changed.
Immediate: Locks the handset immediately.
None: Deactivates the lock function.
You are requested to enter the security code to
confirm the selection.

To unlock the handset, you need to enter the
security code.
Change codes
You can change the PIN, PIN2, the mobile phone
password and the call barring password.
PIN code
PIN is the abbreviation for Personal Identification
Number, and is used to restrict use by an
unauthorised user.

PIN code change procedure
1. Select 'PIN code' from the 'Change codes' list and
then press

2. Enter the current PIN code and press

the procedure is restarted from step 3.
5. When the PIN code is changed properly, a Changed
message is displayed. If you enter an incorrect PIN
code in step 2, the procedure is restarted from step
2, and the number of attempts you have left to
enter the number is decreased by 1.

Three incorrect PIN code entries in the PIN code entry
window would invalidate the PIN code. In this case, you
have to enter the PUK (PIN Unblock Key) code to
configure the PIN code again. The maximum number of
times you may enter the PUK code is 10. (Note: If you
enter an incorrect PUK code10 times, the USIM card will
be blocked and must be replaced.)
