Introduction
The Roland R-26 is a portable audio recorder that gives a professional quality sound
and is capable to record up to six channels. It has two types of internal microphones,
X/Y directional and omnidirectional. There are 2 XLR/TRS combo inputs with 48V
phantom power for external mies, and a 3.5mm mic input for small stereo mies with
plug-in power. This recorder allows six different types of mic directionality options as
well as manual or automatic sensitivity inputs, and a peak feature to help you with
distortion and clipping. The R-26 is capable of dual recording, and can simultaneously
record-WAV and MP3 files. This intuitive recorder has a large, grey scale, backlit
touchscreen display for viewing input levels and selecting menu options, no squinting
required.
