WELCOME

Thanks for choosing Polar! In this guide, we'll walk
you through the basics of using and caring for Polar
Equine FT1 Healthcheck. You can download the user
manual in German, French, Italian, Spanish, Finnish and
Swedish at polar.com/support.

PRODUCT PARTS

1. T31 transmitter with a handlebar: the transmitter
sends the ECG accurate heart rate signal to the
training computer.
2. FT1 training computer: the training computer
displays the heart rate.

USING FT1 HEALTHCHECK

1. Wet the horse's hair abundantly as indicated (1).
Alternatively, you can use electrode gel.
2. Place the transmitter againts the hair of the
horse (2). Keep the FT1 training computer within
1 meter / 3 feet from the transmitter.
3. Press the button to start. Your horse's heart rate
appears in 5 seconds.
4. Press the button to stop.
