CONNECTING THE POWER CORDS:
TheENDEAVOR usesPOWERCON twist lock connec-
torson theend of theGFCI powercords. Thesemateto
thefemalereceptacleson thebody of theENDEAVOR.
Thefemalereceptaclesarefound on thebottom right
hand sideof themachineon therear. See#12 on page6.
To connect:
1. Takea powercon twist lock connector end and match
thechuck on theconnector to thekeyway on the
femalechassisreceptacle.
2. Insert theconnector and turn in a clockwise
motion. A click will beheard when thecon-
nector hasengaged and islocked in place.
3. To disconnect, pull back on thesliding lock release
then turn theconnector in a counter-clockwisemo-
tion. Pull theconnector out of thechassisreceptacle.
4. Connect themalewall plug end of thepower cord to
a wall socket with itsown separatecircuit.
5. PresstheRES ET button on thecord'sGFCI box.
When thered confirmation light on theGFCI box
turnson, themachineisready to use. For more
information on theGFCI and itsfunction, seepages
4 and 5.
USING THE CIRCUIT LOCATOR:
TheENDEAVOR hasa built in circuit locator. When
theunit isplugged into two separatecircuits, thecircuit
locator confirmation light will turn on. Theconfirmation
light ismarked "CT" and islocated on thecontrol panel.
See#4 on page7.
1. Connect both power cordsto machine.
2. Plug both malewall plug cord endsinto two separate
wall plugs.
3. Pressthereset button on each GFCI plug.
4. Thelight marked "CT" will turn on if you areon two
confirmed circuits. If you arein a very brightly lit
environment, shield the"CT" light with your hands
to better seetheconfirmation light.
5. If the"CT" light doesnot comeon, try plugging into
another circuit until you get a confirmation light.
NOTE: Do not ignorethecircuit locator. Do not run
both cordson onecircuit. Doing so may overload the
circuitsand trip thecircuit breaker.
CONNECTING SOLUTION AND VACUUM
HOSES:
Hoseconnectionsfor thesolution lineand thevacuum
line can both befound on thefront of themachinein the
control panel. Thecontrol panel is#4 on page6.
Solution hose: Connect theQ.D. on your solution hose
to theQ.D. on themachine'scontrol panel (#7 on page
7). Connect oppositeend of thesolution hoseto your
accessory.
Vacuum hose: Connect thecuff on your vacuum hoseto
thevacuum hosebarb on themachine'scontrol panel (#8
on page7). Connect oppositeend of thevacuum hose
to your accessory. Makesurehosecuffsarepushed in
securely.
