Before taking your camera to the repair shop, check the following table for a
possible solution to the problem.

pack has not
been inserted
correctly.
The battery/

compartment
cover is not
completely
closed.

not turned on.
Cause
Recharge the
battery pack.
Reinsert the
battery pack,
making sure to
orient it
correctly.
Close the
battery/card
compartment
cover
completely.
Not a
malfunction.
If the auto
power off
function was
activated, turn
the camera on
before
shooting.
If the camera
was turned off,
press the ON/
OFF button to
turn it on.
