BEFORE CONTACTING SERVICE CENTER
Symptom
Images are not
very clear.
DATE/TIME is not
displayed on the
image.
No image on
external monitor
When using the
PC's explorer,
'Removable Disk' file
does not show.
Cause
The lens or LCD monitor is
smudged or dirty.
Images taken without date
imprinting setting.
The external monitor has not
been connected properly with
the camera.
There are incorrect files in the
CF CARD.
Cable connection is
incorrect.
The camera is off.
There are no batteries, the
batteries are exhausted or
the AC adapter is not
connected.
The operating system is not
Windows 98, 2000, ME, XP.
Alternatively the PC does not
support USB.
USB driver is not installed.
The mode dial is not set on
PC mode.
Remedy
Clean the lens or LCD monitor (refer
to lens cleaning section page 81)
Select the imprinting
function. Refer to page 71.
Check the connection
cables.
Insert CF CARD that have
correct files.
Check the connection.
Turn the camera on.
Insert new batteries or check
the adapter connection.
Install Windows 98, 2000,
ME, XP
Install "USB Storage Driver"
Select PC mode on the dial
