    TIMBERLINE FFV2 INTRODUCTION Timberline Firefi ghter Clamps are designed to be used to temporarily stop the pressurized fl ow of water in canvas, rubber or synthetic hose without permanent- ly damaging the hose. Prior to using a Timberline Firefi ghter Clamp, the user should consult and observe any recommendations or precautions from hose manufacturers and industry standards.

  • Page 5 TIMBERLINE FFV2 Personal Safety Stay Alert, watch what you are doing, and do not use tools while tired or under the infl uence of narcotics, alcohol, or medication. Use proper clothing, eye protection, and safety equipment when us- ing shut-off clamps. A moment of inattention while operating shut-off tools may result in personal injury.

  • Page 7 TIMBERLINE FFV2 Keeping your arm that is holding onto the top handle straight, slowly crouch down using your body weight to depress the top handle on the clamp. This will instantly shut off water supply. Fig 4 The clamp is self-locking and will remain locked until Fig 4 released.
