Your car is equipped with a maintenance-free battery. You never
have to add water. The condition of the battery can be determined
by checking the test indicator. Service as required according to the
label on the battery.
Any corrosion around the positive and negative terminals should
be washed off with a solution of baking soda and warm water. Dry
the terminals and then coat them with grease.
• Batteries produce explosive gases.
— Do not smoke near a battery; keep flames and sparks away.
— Charge batteries only in well ventilated areas.
• Keep children away from batteries.
