To Heat
Turn the fan switch on, slide the temperature lever to the right,
select the HEAT position and warmed air will begin flowing from
the floor outlet.
To warm up the interior quickly, push in the REC button so inside
air will recirculate to the heater. If the windows begin to fog while
heating in the REC position, switch to FRESH to allow outside air to
enter.
On a cold sunny day, when the interior is cool at floor level and
warm at window level, you can slide the temperature lever within
the desired heating range and select the HI-LO position. Setting the
temperature lever varies the ratio of hot air to the floor outlet and
cooler air to the dash vents.
To Dehumidify with Optional Air Conditioner
Because an air conditioner dehumidifies as it works, you can use it
in cool or cold weather to help defog the windows. Just switch the
fan on, push the A/C button on, select the desired function and ad­
just the temperature lever to a comfortable setting.
