25.4mm Spacers from the Pannier Rack
hardware and the 65mm and 60mm Hex
Flange Bolts from the Top Rack hardware.*
*If the rear fender already has the OEM
marked mounting holes drilled in it, skip to
step 4.*
1. Remove rear fender from bike.
2. Drill a ¾" hole through the four manufacturer
marked hole centers on the underside of
removed rear fender. (Fig. 2)
The Tusk ¾" Spade Drill Bit (Rocky Mountain
ATV/MC part no. 1484250001) works great for
this.
3. Re-install rear fender on bike.
4. Place one of the 25.4mm spacers in each of the
drilled holes in the fender. (Fig. 3)
5. Position the pannier rack on the right side of
the bike aligning the holes in the upper
mounting plates over the 25.4mm spacers.
(Fig. 4)
6. Start an 8mm x 55mm hex bolt into the upper
front mounting plate, through the spacer, and
loosely thread into the subframe.
Leave loose until all bolts are installed. (Fig. 4)
7. Start an 8mm x 60mm hex bolt into the upper
rear mounting plate, through the spacer, and
loosely thread into the subframe.
Leave loose until all bolts are installed. (Fig. 4)
