Depending on the area, a phone cable may be included with the printer, if so,
use the cable.

If you want to share the same phone line as your telephone, remove the cap
and then connect the telephone to the EXT. port.

Connect and plug in.

Turn on.

Select a language, country and time.

Remove only the yellow tape.

For the initial setup, make sure you use the ink cartridges that came with
this printer. These cartridges cannot be saved for later use. The initial ink
cartridges will be partly used to charge the print head. These cartridges may
print fewer pages compared to subsequent ink cartridges.
初次安裝時，務必使用本印表機隨附的墨水匣。這些墨水匣無法保存供日後
使用。內附的墨水匣中有部分墨水會用於填充印字頭。這些墨水匣的列印張
數可能會比之後使用的新墨水匣少。

Insert all four cartridges. Press each unit until it clicks.
插入全部四個墨水匣。壓下墨水匣，直到卡入定位為止。
K Close.
闔上掃描單元。

Press x to start ink charging. Wait until the charging is finished.

Pull out.

Slide the edge guides and load the A4 paper with the printable side face up.

Slide the edge guides and slide the front edge guide to adjust to the A4 side.

Do not load paper above the arrow mark inside the edge guide.

Set the paper size and paper type.

Make the fax settings. You can change these settings later. If you do not want
to make settings now, close the fax settings screen.

Load A4 size paper toward the front edge guide with the printable side face
down then slide the side edge guides to the paper.
將 A4 大小紙張朝前方紙張邊緣定位器裝入，列印面朝下，然後將側邊紙
張邊緣定位器滑至紙張。
Do not load paper above the arrow mark inside the edge guide.
裝入紙張時，請勿超過紙張邊緣定位器內側的箭頭記號。

Insert and then unfold the tray.

Q
Set the paper size and paper type for the paper cassette. You can change these
settings later.
設定進紙匣的紙張大小與紙張種類。您之後可變更這些設定。

Make the fax settings. You can change these settings later. If you do not want
to make settings now, close the fax settings screen.
