Preparing for use Connecting the hose To connect the hose, push it firmly into the appliance (‘click’) (Fig. 4).

    Connect the crevice nozzle (1) or the small nozzle (2) directly to the handgrip or to the tube (Fig. 13). Mini turbo brush (FC8952 only) The mini turbo brush has been specially designed to effectively pick up animal hairs and fluff from furniture and mattresses. The unique brush inside the mini turbo brush loosens the hairs from the fabric so that they can be picked up by the vacuum cleaner.

    Clean the washable Ultra Clean Air HEPA 13 filter every 6 months. The filter can be cleaned 4 times. After these 4 times, the filter has to be replaced. Replace the washable Ultra Clean Air HEPA 13 filter with a Philips filter of the correct type (see chapter ‘Ordering accessories’).

    Open the cover (Fig. 32). Turn the handle with the air filter counter clockwise (1) and remove it from the lid (2). (Fig. 33) Remove the air filter and clean it under the tap. (Fig. 34) Let the air filter dry completely before you reattach it to the handle. Reattach the air filter back onto the lid (1) and turn it clockwise (2). (Fig. 35) Close the cover. (Fig. 36) Cleaning the mini turbo brush (FC8952 only) To clean the brush inside the mini turbo brush, follow the steps below: Turn the mini turbo brush upside down. To unlock the mini turbo brush, turn the ring anticlockwise (1) and pull it towards you (2) (Fig. 37). Separate the two housing halves. (Fig. 38) Remove the hairs and dirt entangled around the brush. (Fig. 39) Do not detach the brush and the parts inside the mini turbo brush.

  • Page 12 If you add soap or perfume to the water, make sure that this is non-foaming soap or perfume. If foam develops inside the dust bucket, stop vacuum cleaning. Empty the dust bucket and fill it with fresh water. FC8952 only: hairs are entangled around the brush inside the mini turbo brush. Clean the mini turbo brush. See chapter ‘Cleaning’, section ‘Cleaning the mini turbo brush’.

    Suceur plat et petit embout Fixez le suceur plat (1) ou le petit embout (2) directement sur la poignée ou sur le tube (fig. 13). Mini-brosse Turbo (FC8952 uniquement) La mini-brosse Turbo a été spécialement conçue pour ramasser efficacement les poils d’animaux et la poussière présents sur les meubles et les matelas. La brosse unique située à l’intérieur de la mini-brosse Turbo retire les poils et cheveux des tissus afin qu’ils puissent être aspirés.

    FRANÇAIS Utilisation de l’appareil Remarque : Pour transporter l’aspirateur, utilisez la poignée située sur le dessus de l’appareil (fig. 14). Appuyez sur le bouton de déverrouillage (1) pour enlever le flexible (2). (fig. 5) Ouvrez le couvercle (fig. 15). Saisissez la poignée du filtre à air et retirez le couvercle du récupérateur de poussière (fig. 16). Retirez le récupérateur de poussière de l’appareil en tirant sur sa poignée. (fig. 17) Remplissez le récupérateur de poussière jusqu’au niveau MAX. (fig. 18) Ne faites pas fonctionner l’appareil sans eau. Assurez-vous toujours que le récupérateur de poussière est rempli à un niveau compris entre les indications MIN et MAX. Si vous ajoutez du savon non moussant ou du parfum à l’eau, veillez à nettoyer correctement le récupérateur de poussière et AquaWeb après utilisation afin d’éviter la formation de mousse dans le récupérateur de poussière. Attention : Si de la mousse se forme dans le récupérateur de poussière, arrêtez d’aspirer. Videz le récupérateur de poussière et remplissez-le d’eau fraîche. Replacez le récupérateur de poussière dans l’appareil et le filtre à air sur le récupérateur de poussière. (fig. 19) Fermez le couvercle. (fig. 20) Raccordez le flexible en le poussant fermement dans l’appareil. (fig. 21) Sortez le cordon d’alimentation de l’appareil et branchez-le sur une prise secteur. Appuyez sur le bouton marche/arrêt de l’appareil pour l’allumer (fig. 22). Si vous souhaitez interrompre momentanément votre tâche, insérez l’ergot de rangement de la brosse dans l’insert du tube pour ranger ce dernier dans une position pratique (fig. 23).

    Nettoyez le filtre sortie HEPA 13 Ultra Clean Air lavable tous les 6 mois. Le filtre peut être nettoyé 4 fois. Après cela, le filtre doit être remplacé. Remplacez le filtre HEPA 13 Ultra Clean Air lavable par un filtre Philips du type correct (voir le chapitre « Commande d’accessoires »). Arrêtez, puis débranchez l’appareil (fig. 22).
