Closed user group
Use this menu to set incoming and outgoing
calls to be restricted to a selected user group.
For details about how to create a closed user
group, contact your service provider.
•
Index list: list, add, or delete CUG index
numbers. Press <Options> to access the
options for setting up an index list.
•
Outside access: enable calls to numbers
other than those in the Closed user group.
This feature depends on the nature of your
CUG subscription.
•
Default group: enable the default CUG, if
you have set one with your service provider.
When making a call, you are given the
option of using your default CUG, instead of
selecting one from the list.

Deactivate: deactivate the CUG function, if
the default group is enabled or a CUG index
is selected.

Sound settings

The Sound settings menu allows you to
customise various sounds on the phone.
To access this menu, press <Menu> in Idle
mode and select Sound settings.
Ring tone
(Menu 4.1)
Use this menu to select a ringtone for the call
ringer. You can select one of the embedded ring
melodies, downloaded sounds, or melodies you
have created.
Ring volume
(Menu 4.2)
Use this menu to adjust the ringtone volume.
Alert type
(Menu 4.3)
Use this menu to specify how you are to be
informed of incoming calls.
