Additional Features

The following features were added or modified for product improvements.
For details on operation procedure for each feature, refer to the CX-A5000 Owner's
Manual. Numbers in parentheses show the page numbers where corresponding
explanations are given.
HDMI 4K (60 Hz/50 Hz) pass-through transmission
The pass-through transmission of HDMI 4K (60 Hz/50 Hz) 4:2:0 signals becomes
available.
Additional setting for the auto-standby function
"20 Minutes" is added as the setting of "Auto Power Standby" (p.121) in "ECO" in the
"Setup" menu.
This setting sets the unit to standby mode when you have not operated the unit and no
input signals are detected for 20 minutes.

U.K. and Europe models: 20 Minutes
Other models: Off
YPAO Volume
When YPAO Volume is enabled, the high- and
low-frequency levels are automatically adjusted
according to the volume so that you can enjoy
natural sounds even at low volume.
You can enable/disable YPAO Volume in "YPAO
Volume (YPAO Volume)" in the "Option" menu
(p.90).

Off (default) Disables YPAO Volume.
On Enables YPAO Volume.
• YPAO Volume works effectively after the measurement results of "Auto Setup" have been already saved.

Jitter elimination level adjustment
The jitter elimination level adjustment that works on the unit's ultra low jitter PLL circuit is
newly added. By adjusting the elimination level of jitter in digital audio, you can
enhance the DAC accuracy of the unit
You can adjust the elimination level in "Ultra Low Jitter PLL Mode" in the "Input" menu (p.95).
