Setting Warning Beeps

You can set the phone to sound warning beeps that
indicate:

each minute you are on a phone call
◆
when you are out of a service area or when you return to a
service area
1. Press MENU.

Setting Up Backlight

When you first turn on the phone and when you
press a key, the display and keypad light up. There
are two ways to set up backlight.

8 SECONDS: The light goes off automatically 8 seconds after
you turn on the phone or press the last key.
◆
OFF: The light never comes on.
1. Press MENU.
2. Press 4 on the keypad.
3. Press 1 to select Backlight.
4. Press π or †:
