The wind speed and wave height specified as the upper lmt for your category of boat does not mean that you or your passengers can survve f your boat s exposed to these condtons.     Shut engine off if an object is struck or if you run aground. Check for hull leaks and drive line damage, before restarting engine. Use hand pump if bilge pumps don't remove water.     Read and understand this section and section 5 • Fuel System The fuel fill cap is located on the port side of the boat (Figure 3.2.1). Do not mistake the water tank fill and waste pump out caps for the gasoline fill cap.

    To mnmze electrolytc corroson of the metals on your boat, znc anode plates are provded on your boat to protect underwater hardware. Znc, beng much less "noble" than the copper-based alloys and alumnum used n underwater fttngs, wll deteriorate first and protect the other metals.
  • Page 53 Znc anodes requre replacement about every sx months, f the boat s operated n salt water. In fresh water, the znc anodes can be replaced about once a year. If the anodes deterorate more rapdly than ths, there s probably a stray current problem wthn the boat or at the slp or moorng.
