Selecting the Audio Mode
✤ The Audio Mode function works in both Camera and Player modes.
✤ This Camcorder records sound in two ways. (12Bit, 16Bit)
- 12Bit: You can record two 12Bit stereo sound tracks.
The original stereo sound can be recorded onto the Main (Sound1)
track. Additional stereo sound can be dubbed onto the Sub
(Sound2) track.
- 16Bit: You can record one high quality stereo sound using the 16Bit
recording mode. Audio dubbing is not possible when using this
mode.
1. Set the Power switch to CAMERA or PLAYER.
2. Set the Mode switch to TAPE.
3. Press the MENU button.
I The menu list will appear.
4. Move the Menu selector to the left or right to select
Record, then press the Menu selector.
5. Move the Menu selector to the left or right to select
Audio Mode, then press the Menu selector.
6. Move the Menu selector to the left or right to select desired
audio mode (12Bit or 16Bit), then press the Menu selector.
7. To exit, press the MENU button.
[ Note ]
When 12Bit is selected, no 12Bit indication will be displayed.

✤ La función Audio Mode <Modo Audio> está oeprativa en las modalidades
Camera y Player.
✤ Esta videocámara graba sonidos de dos modalidades distintas: 12Bits y
16Bits. (12Bits y 16Bits)
- 12Bit: Es posible grabar dos pistas de sonido de 12Bits en estéreo.
El sonido original estéreo se puede grabar en la pista principal
(Sound1).
Se puede grabar sonido estéreo adicional de mezcla en la pista
secundaria (sound2).
- 16Bit: Es posible grabar una pista estéreo de alta calidad de 16Bits.
En esta modalidad no es posible hacer mezclas.

1. Coloque el interruptor Power en CAMERA o PLAYER.
2. Coloque el interruptor Mode en TAPE.
3. Pulse el botón MENU.
I Aparece la lista del menú.
4. Mueva el Selector de menú a la izquierda o a la derecha
hasta seleccionar Record <Grabar> y pulse el Selector
de menú.
5. Mueva el Selector de menú a la izquierda o a la derecha
hasta seleccionar Audio Mode <Modo Audio> y pulse el
Selector de menú.
6. Mueva el Selector de menú a la izquierda o a la derecha
hasta seleccionar la modalidad de audio (12Bit o 16Bit) y
pulse el Selector de menú.
7. Para salir, pulse el botón MENU.
[ Nota ]
Cuando se selecciona 12Bit <12Bits>, no aparece ninguna
indicación de 12Bit <12Bits> en pantalla.
