Using the VIDEO LIGHT

VIDEO LIGHT works in CAMERA/M.REC mode only.
To brighten the scene when natural lighting is too dim.
VIDEO LIGHT works in SP mode only.
- If you turn on the LIGHT in LP mode, the LIGHT indicator and "LP"
will be blinking on the LCD.
DANGER
The VIDEO LIGHT can become extremely hot.
Do not touch it either while in operation or soon after turning it off,
otherwise serious injury may result.
Do not place the camcorder into the carrying case immediately after
using the VIDEO LIGHT, since it can remain extremely hot for some
time.
Do not use near flammable or explosive materials.
It is recommended that you consult your nearest SAMSUNG dealer
for bulb replacement.
- The life of the bulb is approximately 50 hours.
1. Set the camcorder to the CAMERA mode.
2. Press the V.LIGHT button.
The VIDEO LIGHT indicator appears
on the LCD and the light is turned on.
3. If you want to turn off the VIDEO LIGHT,
press the V.LIGHT button again.
Notes
The light is turned off automatically during ejecting or inserting.
Even if the battery indicator does not blink when the battery packs
charge is low, the camcorder may turn off automatically when you turn
on the light, or when you start recording with light turned on.
The built-in light is used as a subsidiary light, it may not be enough for
outdoor lighting.
The picture quality may deteriorate if you use the VIDEO LIGHT
continuously for more than 20 minutes.
If you turn on the light in 1/8, 1/15, 1/30 SHUTTER mode, the manual
66 66 SHUTTER mode will be switched off.

Utilización del foco de la cámara
La función de foco de la cámara (VIDEO LIGHT) sólo opera en las
modalidades CAMERA y M.REC.
Esta función permite proporcionar luz a la escena cuando la luz
natural es demasiado tenue.
La función VIDEO LIGHT sólo opera en la modalidad SP.
- Si enciende la luz en la modalidad LP, el indicador LIGHT y "LP"
parpadearán en la pantalla LCD.
PELIGRO
El foco de la videocámara puede alcanzar temperaturas muy
elevadas.No lo toque mientras se encuentre en funcionamiento
o después de apagarlo. En caso contrario podrían producirse
graves lesiones.
No coloque la videocámara en su bolsa de transporte
inmediatamente después de utilizar el foco de la cámara, ya que
puede seguir a temperatura muy elevada durante un rato.
No lo utilice cerca de materiales inflamables o explosivos.
Cuando llegue el momento de sustituir la bombilla, póngase en
contacto con su distribuidor SAMSUNG más cercano.
- La vida útil de la bombilla es de 50 horas
aproximadamente.
1. Ajuste la videocámara en la modalidad CAMERA.
2. Pulse el botón V.LIGHT.
Aparece el indicador VIDEO LIGHT en la
pantalla LCD y la luz se enciende.
3. Si desea apagar el foco de la cámara, pulse el
botón V.LIGHT de nuevo.
Notas
La luz se apaga automáticamente al extraer o insertar la cinta.
Aunque el indicador de la batería no parpadee cuando la carga de
la misma sea baja, es posible que la videocámara se apague
automáticamente cuando encienda el foco o cuando empiece a
grabar con el foco encendido.
La luz incorporada se utiliza como un foco adicional, puede que no
sea suficiente para la iluminación de exteriores.
Si utiliza la función VIDEO LIGHT continuamente durante más de 20
minutos, es posible que la calidad de la fotografía se vea afectada.
Si enciende el foco en la modalidad SHUTTER 1/8, 1/15 o 1/30,
se apagará el modo de obturador manual.
