    OPERATION Controls The hood is operated using the (5) push buttons located on the underside of the hood. Fig. 1.     STRUCTURAL.REQUIREMENTS The total weight of the hood is 100 lbs. as supplied. Special structure consider- ations must be made to ensure proper installation. The mounting brackets need to be mounted to 2" nominal lumber. Hollow wall anchors should not be used at any time.
  • Page 8 INSTALL.UPPER.BRACKETS Note:. Covers. mount. between. the. COVER telescopic. arm. and. mount. on. the. ceiling.bracket. 1. Install the Upper Brackets to the Telescopic Mounting Arm using (2) Large Head M4  x  20 Torx drive screws. Fig. 5 and Fig. 6. Remove the UPPER protective coating.

    INSTALL.WIRING POWER JUNCTION CABLES 1. Drop the ceiling canopy. Wire tie the two power cables to the support arms. Insert the wires onto the strain relief and into the junction box. Se- cure the wires by tightening the strain relief. Make the power connections Fig.
  • Page 14 INSTALL.ARM.COVERS UPPER 1. Attach (2) Upper Arm Covers to the COVERS Upper Brackets with (12) M4 x 6 flat head screws. Remove the protective coating. Fig. 22 and Fig. 23. 2. Attach the Lower Arm Covers with (4) M4 x 20 pan head screws. Remove the protective coating.

Il faut tenir compte de considé- rations structurales spéciales pour assurer une installation appropriée. Les supports de montage doivent être montés sur un bois d’œuvre nominal de 5 cm (2 po). Les ancrages muraux creux de toute sorte ne doivent pas être utilisés.
