RECORDING WITH EASE FOR BEGINNERS (EASY Q MODE)
With the EASY Q function, most of the camcorder settings are automatically adjusted. This function
frees you from making detailed adjustments.
PRECHECK!
Select the Video ( ) or Photo (
1. Press the EASY Q button.
• ( ) indicator is displayed.

(when activating the EASY Q mode, Anti-shake (
indicator also appears.)
2. Press the Recording start/stop button or PHOTO

• To record videos, press the Recording start/stop
button. To record photos, press the PHOTO button.
3. To cancel EASY Q mode, press the EASY Q button
again.
• The EASY Q mode automatically sets the following record functions: " SCENE," "White
Balance," "Aperture," "Shutter," "EV," "Super C.Nite," "Back Light," "Focus," "Face
Detection," "Anti-Shake (EIS)," "Digital Effect," "Fader," "Super Macro," "ISO,"
"Dynamic Range," "Flash," "Magic Touch," "Metering," "Cont. Shot," "Bracket
Shot," etc. Cancel the EASY Q function if you want to add effects or settings to the
images.
• Unavailable buttons during EASY Q operation:
Menu ( ) tab / Q.MENU button / etc. Most settings are automatically adjusted in EASY
Q mode. To set or adjust functions on your own, release the EASY Q mode first.
