3. Reinstall the storage converter with the 2.5-inch storage drive. See "Replacing the 3.5-inch storage drive
in the primary or secondary drive bay" or "Replacing the 3.5-inch storage drive in the front-access
storage enclosure".
Replacing the 2.5-inch storage drive in the tertiary drive bay
1. Remove any media from the drives and turn off all connected devices and the computer. Disconnect all
power cords from electrical outlets and disconnect all cables from the computer.
2. Remove the computer cover. See "Removing the computer cover" on page 17.
3. Remove the front bezel. See "Replacing the front bezel" on page 18.
4. If you are replacing the 3.5-inch storage drive in the secondary drive bay, pivot the drive bay assembly
outward. See "Pivoting the drive bay assembly upward and downward" on page 19.
5. Disconnect the signal cable and the power cable from the storage drive.
6. Replace the 2.5-inch storage drive in the tertiary drive bay.
