A Quick Reference guide to the
Animas Vibe
®
There are two types of bolus calculators:
> ezCarb: helps you to calculate the amount of insulin you need to
cover a certain amount of carbs eaten.

With "Bolus" highlighted,
press .

If you know the number of carbs for
your meal, enter them in the carbs
field. The cursor will flash on the "Carbs"
field to indicate that you can edit the total
number of carbs eaten. Use the
buttons to enter the number of carbs.
Press . "Add BG" is highlighted.

You can also add your current BG reading to the calculation of the carb
bolus. For more information, check your Animas
Make sure 'Add BG' is highlighted and press

"Show Result" is highlighted in
yellow, unless an alert message
shows (for a high or low BG).
