    Operation Selecting a language for the voice prompts The speaker features voice prompts to guide you through the pairing and connecting processes. The voice prompts also indicate the battery charge level and the name of the currently connected device. The first time you use your speaker, you will need to select a language: Press to turn on the speaker.

    On your mobile device, make sure Bluetooth is on. (The Bluetooth menu is usually found in the Settings menu.) Select Bose Color SoundLink from the device list. The Bluetooth indicator glows solid white and the voice prompt says, “<Device> connected”.

    Operation Connecting an AUX device: You can use your Bose SoundLink Color speaker with any device that features ® ® headphone or audio output, such as a portable digital music player. This feature requires using a stereo audio cable with a 3.5 mm plug on each end to connect the audio output of your device to the AUX input on the speaker.
