POINT-OF-SALE (POS) JS970 SYSTEM
Before the Panasonic installation representative arrives at your restaurant, we require that
your restaurant personnel and contractor complete the pre-installation preparations
If you have a new store, or are in the process of remodeling, give this manual to your
construction supervisor, electrical engineer, contractor and electrician so that they may
incorporate the system's requirements into their construction plans.
It is your responsibility to provide the pre-installation
preparations before the Panasonic Representative
arrives. The system may not be installed if all the
preparations are not completed and
extra charges will be incurred.

Pre-Installation Requirements Checklist  Install the ORANGE ISOLATED GROUND (IG) electrical receptacles as per the enclosed specifications.  Install the CAT5 data communications cable as per the enclosed specifications.  Install a CAT5 data communications cable from the switch to the burger chute order printer.

    A&W Food Services of Canada Inc. ELECTRICAL REQUIREMENTS The most probable cause of a system malfunction is due to improper electrical wiring. The following electrical requirements MUST be met before the installation to prevent problems. The complete system, including touch screen terminals, video monitors, printers, kitchen video controller and the back office computer MUST be on a single DEDICATED circuit originating at the main breaker.

The following cabling requirements MUST be met before the installation to prevent problems. CABLING (TO BE COMPLETED BE THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR) *The cable supplied is not FT6 Plenum rating.
